| People come to therapy
for many reasons. Sometimes they want coaching and someone to talk to as they grapple with difficult problems and decisions. Sometimes the pain or discomfort in their lives is so great that they realize it is time to get help. Whatever the reason, I can help you change your life for the better with therapy that empowers you to: • Overcome depression and work through grief • Find relief from anxiety and stress • Rediscover the joy in your relationship • Recover from traumatic experiences • Navigate life transitions • Enhance parenting skills • Learn how to deal with difficult coworkers I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 14 years of experience who sees individuals and couples in the Chapel Hill/Durham area. I offer long-term and short-term counseling in a peaceful and private setting off of Weaver Dairy Road. My fees are reasonable and I accept most insurance plans. Does psychotherapy work? Clients have described the experience as “waking up,” “feeling free to choose rather than just react,” “living authentically,” “learning to like and accept myself.” It is a powerful tool for breaking out of confusion and pain. Your growth will be primarily for you, but it will also impact those close to you, and ultimately, everyone you encounter. I hope you will give yourself the opportunity to live more fully. To make an appointment or to request further information, please call (919) 636-0994. My office hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. I am usually able to get people in for an appointment within a week. All sessions and telephone communications are confidential. —Bonnie Gilliom |
